Wayne McClain Basketball Camps and Clinic offers basketball training and basketball clinics that include organized exercises. The program also includes tutorial assistance in all educational areas, with specific reading, writing, and math skills tutoring, along with leadership training, mentoring, recreational activities, and fitness, health and wellness guidance.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Basketball clinics take place every Saturday in Champaign, with beginner training from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and advanced training from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. General hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Wayne McClain Basketball Camps and Clinic operates under the Wayne McClain Pipeline Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering mentorship, leadership development, academic tutoring, recreational opportunities, and health and wellness guidance. The organization was founded and developed by Sergio McClain in 2011 as The 217309 Pipeline Organization and was renamed the Wayne McClain Pipeline Foundation in 2015. The original 217 309 initiative focused on tutorial assistance in all educational areas, with particular focus on reading, writing, and math skills, and a secondary portion on physical fitness through active participation in organized exercises. The McClain Foundation staff includes Sergio McClain as President and Chairman/President, Robin McClain as Vice President, Brindeshie McClain as Secretary, and Sergio McClain Jr. as Undersecretary and Website Manager. The program was designed to serve low income, low achieving youth ages 6–19 who were enrolled in a Title I school and to act as an interface between academics and fitness. The Wayne McClain Basketball Camps and Clinic is open to travel to interested areas, and the Foundation can host a camp or clinic in other locations upon request via [email protected].
