Eastern Illinois University Youth Programs & Camps offers one day workshops, weekend seminars, and week long camps that include activities such as Apprentice Chef Cooking School, Creative Writing Camp, Fun-n-Fit Camps, Rookie Camps, and various Summer Sports Camps. Participants can also take part in Computer Guts, LEGO Camps, Computer Programming, Camp Intervention, Summer Art School, MTIEP Summer Camp, Minority Leadership Camp, Eastern Music Camp, Summer Showcase Camp, and Creativity Camp. The programs are offered through the School of Extended Learning and EIU Camps and Conferences and focus on STEAM topics—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics—through hands-on, interactive instruction.
