Creative Scholars Preschool

Creative Scholars Preschool offers reading, writing, math, science, and art as part of its curriculum. Children take part in hands-on experiences, playful activities that combine hands-on learning with fun, and bear-themed adventures.

• Ages: 6 weeks–5 years old

The program follows an inquiry-based learning approach, with children’s interests at the forefront of their education and guided by teachers. It is a year-round, all-day preschool with programs based on children’s age ranges, including Infants (6 weeks–15 months), Toddlers (15–24 months), 2-Year-Olds (2–3 years), and Junior Kindergarten (3–5 years). Teachers are described as dedicated to mentoring children throughout their experience and building strong relationships with them. Activities within each subject are described as aiming to promote independence and social and emotional skills as children interact with classmates. The environment is described as warm, welcoming, and nurturing. The program states that high-quality relationships between children and teachers are described as the highest indicators of student success, and that a child’s oral language is described as the highest predictor of literacy success.
