First Tee – Greater Chicago After School Programs, Summer Camps, and Golf Lessons offers after school programs, summer camps, and golf lessons led by First Tee trained coaches. The program uses the game of golf along with a life skills curriculum and is open year-round for kids and teens. Coaches teach the fundamentals of golf in a supportive environment while the program also focuses on helping participants navigate challenges both on and off the course.

• Ages: 7–18 years old

First Tee – Greater Chicago makes golf accessible to all families while integrating the game with a life skills curriculum to create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience. The program takes place at a facility that is home to both the Port and Starboard Courses and an award-winning driving range and practice area, described as the most expansive driving range and practice facility in the Chicagoland area. Harborside International Golf Center has been Chicago’s home for golf since 1995 and is the only facility with two courses on Golfweek’s “Best Courses You Can Play in Illinois.” The Starboard course has been recognized on Golfweek’s Best 2025: Illinois’ best public-access golf courses (Illinois T#9), and Harborside is continuously ranked as one of the top facilities in Illinois.
