• Ages: 2–14 years old

Hot Shots Sports offers sports classes for kids ages 2 to 14 across dozens of different sports and recreational concepts, along with summer camps and seasonal break camps at hundreds of locations. It also runs recreational and competitive leagues for emerging and competitive athletes, and provides school programming such as gym classes, enrichment, recess, and before- and after-school options. The organization partners with park districts, schools, community centers, private facilities, and faith-based organizations to deliver its programs and serves children, families, and partner facilities across the Chicago, Phoenix, and Milwaukee metro areas.

Hot Shots Sports is owned and operated by founder Steve Duman and partner Steve Daly and is not a franchise or private equity–owned. The leadership team has decades of operating experience, originating in Illinois, and the organization describes itself as America’s premier youth sports programming organization and Illinois’ premier youth sports educator. Every coach is background checked and CPR certified, and the coaching staff is full-time with full benefits rather than part-time contractors. Partner facilities are named as additional insured under Hot Shots Sports’ comprehensive insurance, and each program includes a dedicated Site Supervisor for facility partners. The organization states a mission to use sports to positively impact children’s lives, viewing every interaction as an opportunity to build self-esteem and growth, and aiming to help young players find the best versions of themselves and create a foundation of self-confidence that will benefit them throughout their life.
