The mission of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago is to awaken the human spirit through contemporary dance, envisioning a dance landscape that is relevant and accessible to all. Hubbard Street Dance Chicago is committed to opening minds and doors through dance education and increased access to their performances, both virtually and in-person, in schools, at home, and across their community. The organization delivers education programs in 50 classrooms across 17 Chicagoland schools and performs 20 times a year in Chicago. The main company has performed globally in 19 countries and 44 U.S. states and has a historic partnership with The Verdon Fosse® Legacy. Artistic Director Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell leads the company.
