Union League Boys & Girls Clubs

Union League Boys & Girls Clubs offers Ross Power Hour for homework, study habits, and academic skills; Science Club for hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; and Art with drawing, painting, mixed media, digital arts, and collaborative projects. It also offers Triple Play, Healthy Habits, Daily Challenges, and Social Recreation, along with Torch Club and Keystone Club.

• Ross Power Hour — Ages 6 through 18 · Dedicated time and support to complete homework, strengthen study habits, and build academic skills.
• Science Club — Ages 6 through 18 · STEM & Technology program with hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
• Art — Ages 6 through 18 · Art & Creative Expression program using drawing, painting, mixed media, digital arts, and collaborative projects.
• Triple Play — Youth of all ages · Combines physical activity, nutrition education, and social-emotional learning.
• Healthy Habits — Youth of all ages · Focuses on nutrition, self-care, and healthy decision-making.
• Daily Challenges — Youth of all ages · Daily physical activities that help improve strength, coordination, confidence, and fitness.
• Social Recreation — Youth of all ages · Recreation programs that help build friendships, strengthen social-emotional skills, manage emotions, and develop healthy relationships.
• Keystone Club — Teens ages 14 to 18 · Leadership development, academic achievement, career exploration, and meaningful community service opportunities.
• Torch Club — Members ages 11 to 13 · Leadership skills, character development, and service projects that benefit communities.

About the provider

Union League Boys & Girls Clubs says it has served youth since 1919 and has more than 100 years of service. The organization says it grew from a single Club in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood to the largest Boys & Girls Clubs organization in Illinois. Its mission is helping young people build great futures.

Any child ages 5–18 is welcome to join programs. No cost to participate; all programs and services are provided free of charge.
