Y Camp Programs include day camp, overnight camp, family camp, specialty camp and teen adventure options. Campers can take part in activities such as music, sports, cooking, crafts, team sports, swim lessons and learning to shoot a basketball. Y overnight camp experiences can range from one weekend to an entire season.

Founded in 1844, the YMCA runs Y Camp Programs as part of its long history. Day camp at the Y is led by experienced staff. YMCA camp programs include day, overnight and specialty camps, and Y specialty camps offer programming for specific interests, including teen adventure, music, sports and cooking. The Y offers camp programs designed for medical and mental health challenges or other special needs so kids of all abilities and circumstances can attend. Camp is described as a transformational experience. The YMCA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Through community programs, local outreach and global engagement, the YMCA provides support and inspires action in communities. YMCA of the USA is a national resource office, and every YMCA location is independently operated.
