Y Camp Programs are YMCA camp programs that include day camp, overnight camp, family camp, and specialty camp. Specialty camps include options focused on teen adventure, music, sports, and cooking. The YMCA also offers camp programs designed for medical and mental health challenges or other special needs so kids of all abilities and circumstances can attend camp.

Founded in London in 1844, the YMCA has been in existence for 175 years in the United States. The YMCA serves more than 64 million people in 120 countries and serves 18 million community members annually across the U.S. in 10,000 communities. In 2020, Ys nationwide provided 1,467 day camp programs in the U.S. and served 364,910 kids and teens at resident and day camps, including 244,000 overnight camp participants at 234 overnight camps for kids and teens, along with specialty camps. The YMCA serves 2.4 million youths in YMCA food programs each year and operates 2,597 Ys across all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The YMCA of the USA is a national resource office, and every YMCA location is independently operated.
The YMCA’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA is guided by core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The YMCA collaborates with community leaders through community programs, local outreach and global engagement, and during the COVID-19 pandemic the YMCA and the Walmart Foundation partnered to help provide food to children who need it most.
