YMCA Camp Programs include day camps, overnight camps, family camps, and specialty camps. YMCA day camps take place in rural, urban, and suburban settings and are structured so campers return home each afternoon. YMCA overnight camps can run from a single weekend to an entire season and are offered in picturesque settings across the country, alongside family camps and specialty camps focused on interests such as teen adventure, music, sports, and cooking.

The YMCA offers camp programs that include options for kids and teens with medical and mental health challenges or other special needs. In 2020, the YMCA provided more than 1,400 day camp programs in the United States and served 364,910 kids and teens at resident and day camps. The YMCA has more than 200 overnight camps for kids and teens, along with specialty camps.

The YMCA was founded in London in 1844 and has been in existence for 175 years. The YMCA serves more than 64 million people in 120 countries, with 2,597 YMCA locations across the United States reaching people in 10,000 communities.
