YMCA Camp Programs include day camp, overnight camp, family camp, and specialty camp. Day camps are offered in rural, urban, and suburban settings, and overnight camps are located in picturesque settings across the country. Specialty camps focus on specific interests such as teen adventure, music, sports, and cooking, and the Y also offers camp programs designed for medical and mental health challenges or other special needs so kids of all abilities and circumstances can attend.

In 2020, the Y provided more than 1,400 day camp programs in the U.S., and Ys nationwide served 364,910 kids and teens at resident and day camps. The Y has more than 200 overnight camps for kids and teens, along with specialty camps, and 244,000 overnight camp participants are served by Y camps. Each year, 2.4 million youths are served in Y food programs.
The YMCA is committed to strengthening community by empowering young people, improving the health and well-being of people of all ages, and inspiring action in and across communities. The Y collaborates with community leaders to bring healthy living within reach of all people, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Y and the Walmart Foundation partnered to help provide food to children who need it most.
