Crete Creative Gallery & School produces solo showcases and group exhibits and teaches classes for all ages. The program also hosts Opening Receptions, Artist Talks, and Art Markets as part of its exhibit schedule. It hosts 6 unique exhibits each year, including an end-of-the-year event called The Community Showcase.

Crete Creative Gallery & School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2017. It is dedicated to arts accessibility and education and to fostering a welcoming exhibition and education environment across the community, with the belief that culture and the arts should be accessible to everyone. In 2024, Crete Creative began a close partnership with the Crete Public Library for exhibition and event space, and more local partnerships are being built. With the help of artists and volunteers, the organization produces solo showcases, group exhibits, and classes for all ages while providing a platform for local artists, and board members and volunteers can be found at local events. The program is dedicated to showcasing artists from both near and far and hosts a mailing list to share art exhibits, open calls for art, and community events, which is described as a fun and free way to stay connected with the local art scene. A GRAND OPENING & RIBBON CUTTING for the 2nd Floor Gallery was held on June 1st, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM.
