College for Kids STEM Programs is part of the College for Kids summer enrichment offered to students in elementary and middle school. The program is offered through Danville Area Community College, where learning opportunities stretch from preschool to the golden years.

• Ages: 6–13 years old

Danville Area Community College has served the community for more than 75 years. The College’s mission statement is that Danville Area Community College takes its mission very seriously, and its mission is to serve the community. Danville Area Community College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, and its faculty have been recognized with four national teaching excellence awards within six years. The College’s leadership team includes Jill A. Cranmore, Vice President of Human Resources, Affirmative Action Officer, Title IX Coordinator, and Section 504/ADA Coordinator. Danville Area Community College has partnerships with four-year universities that bring courses to campus or offer degree-completion programs online, so students can complete advanced degrees without leaving the community.
