Illinois’ Trail Life Summer Camp states that it is intended to help grow and mentor Trailmen with experiences rich in adventure, character, and leadership, with fun, friendship, and learning. Trail Life is described as a Christian outdoor adventure, character, and leadership program for boys and young men, serving boys and young men from Kindergarten through 25 years old from anywhere in the community. The program states that the men teach the young men, and the young men teach the boys, with a focus on youth learning responsibility and integrity and learning to see God’s hand in everything, and that God is described as the center and the Rock of the Trail Life program. All attending adults must be current registered members of Trail Life. Immanuel is described as honored to support and back a troop based in the heart of Palatine. The leadership contact for camp inquiries is listed as Trephina Bedell at [email protected].
