Since 1955, Wauconda Baseball Softball, also known as Lakes Youth Athletic Association (LYAA), has served the Wauconda, Island Lake, Volo, Port Barrington, and Lakemoor communities with baseball and softball programs for children ages 5 to 16. Its stated mission is to bring the best youth baseball and softball experience to the children of the community. Lakes Youth Athletic Association d/b/a Wauconda Baseball Softball is an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
