Wauconda Area Youth Soccer Club offers recreational soccer with practices, games, and foot skills training for players of all skill levels. The program includes soccer programs for all skill levels, with players instructed in technical, tactical, and philosophical aspects of soccer geared towards each player and team.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Spring 2026 season begins in April, with U8–U14 practices and games starting the week of March 30 (weather permitting) and Tiny Kickers/Kinder Kickers running one practice/game day per week for six weeks starting April 13
• Price: TK/KK $100; U8–U10 $150; U12–U14 $160
Players are instructed by a combination of volunteer coaches and professional trainers who focus on the technical, tactical, and philosophical aspects of soccer based on age and skill level. The club states that it provides a fun, safe environment where players learn the game of soccer, the value of being part of a team, and competing for a common goal. Wauconda Area Youth Soccer Club is a Hawthorn Woods Elite Soccer Club partner and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-based recreational soccer club. All divisions are co-ed for the Spring 2026 season, and birth years and ages for divisions are based on September 1 through August 31. Games and practices may be canceled if it is raining heavily, will not be played if there is lightning in the area at the time of the game or practice, and make-ups are provided for games only. Uniform purchase is mandatory for fall registrations, and optional for spring registrations, and the club notes that soccer season involves different weather and that players should dress accordingly. Volunteer coaches receive a $50 credit for the next registration season.
