Programs
- Culinary Arts — Woodlawn Arts Academy’s culinary programs get students in the kitchen to teach them the joy of cooking and baking. Most culinary programs are held off-site.
- Dance — Woodlawn Dance Academy offers many styles of dance for ages 3 & up.
- Education — Uses the arts along with Core Curriculum and STEM concepts to teach students imagination and creative thinking.
- Music — Offers private and group instruction, along with classes, for students of all ages.
- Theatre — Student theatre programs are open to all, and every student who registers gets a part.
- Visual Arts — Encompasses 2D and 3D art, including drawing, painting, photography, clay, glass and mixed media for all ages and levels of experience.
- Private Lessons — Private music lessons and private visual arts lessons are offered.
- Summer Day Camps — Diverse summer programming includes camps in various individual disciplines, as well as mixed-genre camps.
- Workshops — One-day and multiple-day workshops are offered throughout the year in various disciplines of the arts.

About the provider
Woodlawn Arts Academy says, “Where the Arts are for EVERYONE!” It supports local schools and organizations through arts outreach programming and is supported as an agency of the United Way of Whiteside County and United Way of Lee County. It also acknowledges support from the Illinois Arts Council.
Registration fees must be paid at the time of enrollment. Registration is not complete until full payment is made, a payment plan is in place, or financial assistance funding is in place. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
