Spring Forward Summer Enrichment Camps offers a five-week summer enrichment camp that blends academics, enrichment, and adventures. The program includes homework help, tutoring, and sports clubs led by certified teachers. The camp is offered at no cost to participating families.

Spring Forward Summer Enrichment Camps is part of Spring Forward Learning Center, which began in 1999 when parishioners at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Rock Island, Illinois started it as a mission project. The organization’s mission is to provide educational programs at no cost to enhance the lives of families in the community. Spring Forward is partnering with local school districts to offer this five-week summer enrichment camp. The organization supports students in kindergarten through 6th grade with after-school, intersession, and summer programs, and also offers a family literacy program. Spring Forward has been nationally recognized by the National Summer Learning Association and has been featured in a summer learning program quality assessment case study.
The program is led by Executive Director Robbie McIntyre and Development Coordinator Betsy McNeil. The leadership team also includes board members Laura Wriedt, Lynn Heath, Tee Leshoure, Kathy Ruggeberg, Todd Frankel, Pete Voss, Sarah Gorham, Dorian Maag, and Kristi Steinbeck.
