Creations Dance Studio offers dance and tumbling classes that include breaking, street dance, hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary, and lyrical, as well as tumbling classes. • Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Fall registration is in-house on a first come, first serve basis on Tuesday, September 2, from 6:00–8:00 PM, and Thursday, September 4, from 7:00–9:00 PM.

Creations Dance Studio opened in August 2010 and states that it has over 60 years of experience. It describes itself as a local, family dance studio with a rich family history, is family owned and operated with three generations of dancers, and offers daytime and evening classes for students age 2–102. The studio offers HomeSchool dance and tumbling classes for every age, with parents always welcome, beginning and advanced adult classes, and a one-of-a-kind tuition model described as making dance classes affordable for the whole family, including family plans for unlimited classes. It describes itself as the most affordable dance studio in the Peoria area and notes that many students stay from preschool to high school graduation and longer.
Co-owners Sheryl Huggins and Shannon Huggins opened Creations Dance Studio in August 2010. Sheryl began her dance career at age 12 and began teaching at 15, and Shannon began dancing at age 3, competing at age 9, and began teaching at 15. Kali is the Junior Jazz and Lyrical Coach, assistant coach for the mini hip hop team, is on the Senior level competitive dance teams and the Elite tumbling team, and teaches recreational hip hop and tumbling classes while attending college. Miss Shannon and Miss Sheryl are listed as contact persons.
Creations Dance Studio states that it is proud to be the only studio in the area that teaches breaking and street dance with its hip hop classes. The studio has platinum winning competitive teams and describes itself as national champions and multi-platinum, national champions. Each year, competitive teams, soloists, and coaches bring home multiple overall awards, platinum and elite gold adjudication awards, and judge’s awards from competitions throughout the Midwest. The studio appeared on NEWS25 WEEK, showing breaking skills and talking about breaking in the 2024 Olympics, and it participates in competitions throughout the Midwest.

It uses a GroupMe Family for regular updates. Team leaders are assigned to each competitive team, and a Big Brothers/Sisters program pairs older kids with younger kids to look out for and help. Advanced students can serve as student helpers who help choreograph, teach, and spot recreational classes.
