Kids Art Classes offers once-a-week art classes where kids take part in drawing, painting, and ceramics. The program runs in 4–6 week class sessions.

The Kids Art Classes program is part of the Edwardsville Arts Center, which was founded by a group of local artists in 2001. The Edwardsville Arts Center offers K–12th grade art classes, including drawing, painting, ceramics, and other art activities, as well as a Middle School Art Club. Its mission is to inspire the lives of youth and the creative spirit of adults through classes, exhibits, and cultural events. The Edwardsville Arts Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit community visual arts organization recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)3. It serves local, regional, and national artists through exhibitions, runs a gallery shop featuring local and national artists, and presents 8–10 exhibitions in professional and student gallery spaces. The organization engages the community through outreach programs, including organizing a 3-day juried art fair and producing the Edwardsville Art Fair each September, which hosts 100 juried artists, local restaurants, entertainment on the park stage, and a children’s art tent with free activities.
