• Schedule: Weekly sessions from May 29 to August 8, with camp arrival any time after 7:00AM and parent or guardian sign-out by 6:00PM

Camp sessions for 2025 run in 11 weekly blocks: Week 1 (May 29–30), Week 2 (June 2–6), Week 3 (June 9–13), Week 4 (June 16–20), Week 5 (June 23–27), Week 6 (June 30–July 3), Week 7 (July 7–11), Week 8 (July 14–18), Week 9 (July 21–25), Week 10 (July 28–August 1), and Week 11 (August 4–8). The swim schedule lists Monday and Wednesday for Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade; Tuesday and Thursday for 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade; and Monday through Thursday for Teen Camp for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Registration for 2025 begins at 6:00am on March 3 for members and March 17 for non-members, and the last day to register for each camp week is the Thursday before that week. Campers must sign up for the grade they completed in the 2024–2025 school year, must be a minimum age of 5 and exiting Kindergarten, and teens must be no older than 14 and exiting 8th grade, while campers 18 years of age or older are restricted from attending camp. The program includes a Teen Adventure Camp for sixth through eighth graders and a variety of preschool camps, and there are limited numbers of spaces per grade level.

The Edwardsville YMCA states that it is committed to providing a high-quality, age-appropriate experience for children with a wide range of activities and adventures to enjoy. The Edwardsville YMCA will be building on its 60+ years of experience as an expert summer camp resource, and this long summer camp tradition continues in 2025. Support Local week encourages campers to wear Edwardsville school or local business shirts, the Edwardsville YMCA Annual Campaign helps provide memberships, programs, childcare, and mission-based programming, and the YMCA Giving Tree collects new and unwrapped gifts to help local families have a Merry Christmas.

For in-person registration, families must bring a copy of immunization records, a credit or debit card for automatic draft or a voided check for checking account drafts, and the $35 non-refundable deposit per week per child. Campers are required to wear comfortable, closed-toed athletic shoes with socks, and flip-flops, sandals, or Crocs are not allowed. A camp shirt is included in the registration fee and should be worn on Fridays. The YMCA provides roller skates for campers, or campers may bring their own skates from home. Because campers swim multiple times a week, they need to bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. All campers must be potty trained and able to change into and out of their swimwear independently. If medication is needed during camp hours, the parent must give the medication in its original packaging along with a doctor’s note to the camp nurse, and campers may not keep prescription or over-the-counter medications with them.
