Edwardsville YMCA Summer Camps include on-site day camps where campers take part in activities such as roller skating and swimming. Campers swim multiple times a week, and roller skates are provided or campers may bring their own skates from home. All campers must be potty trained and able to change into and out of their swimwear independently.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Campers may arrive any time after 7:00AM and must be signed out by a parent or guardian by 6:00PM.
• Price: $45 non-refundable deposit per week per child required.
Over 70 specialty camps are offered, with a limited number of spaces per grade level and online registration encouraged. Teen Adventure Camp is available for sixth through eighth graders, and each Friday includes a special event or field trip. A camp shirt is included in the registration fee and is worn on Fridays, and Kindergarten and 1st grade campers must wear a swim belt. Registration for 2026 begins at 6:00AM on March 2nd for members and March 16th for non-members, and the last day to register for each camp week is the Thursday before the week starts.
If registering in person, parents must bring a copy of immunization records, a credit or debit card for automatic draft (or a voided check for checking account drafts), and the required deposit. Due to the high level of physical activity, campers are required to wear comfortable, closed-toed athletic shoes with socks, and flip-flops, sandals, and Crocs are not allowed. Campers need to bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen, and if medication is needed during camp hours, it must be given to the camp nurse by the parent in its original packaging along with a doctor’s note.
