M&M Dance offers classes that include dancing, games, and crafts. The program includes Winter/Spring classes and several themed dance camps, with some camps featuring a performance on the last day.
• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Winter/Spring classes are 18 weeks long, starting January 3, 2026, with an Annual Recital performance on May 31, 2026 at Elgin Community College Blizzard Theater; the Sunday Combo Class runs as a 14-week session.
• Price: Pre-holiday camp tuition = $45. Summer Dance Camp June 16–18, 2026 tuition = $187. Magical Camp July 14–16, 2026 tuition = $187. Littles camp July 21–23, 2026 tuition = $125. 30 minute class tuition: $270 for the 18-week session. 45 minute class tuition: $252 for the 14-week Sunday Combo Class session. 55 minute class tuition: $360 for the 18-week session, or $324 for dancers that take 5+ classes per week. 75 minute class tuition: $450 for the 18-week session, or $405 for dancers that take 5+ classes per week. 90 minute class tuition: $540 for the 18-week session, or $486 for dancers that take 5+ classes per week. Registration fee (annual): $35.00. Family discounts: 10% multiple child discount on class tuition for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th child (Unlimited Class registration, Camps, and Intensives excluded). Unlimited Class Tuition: $480 per month, paid September through June, and includes Regular Summer Classes (Camps, Intensives, and Pop Ups not included). EDC dance company fee: $700 per season required for Unlimited Registration. MMDC dance company fee: $400 per season. EDC Ballet: $55 per month.
M&M Dance has been educating dancers since 2003 with attention to technique, stage presence, discipline, confidence, independence, productivity, accountability, and strength of character and body as the stated pillars of its training, with the motto, “Don’t wish for it...Work for it.” The program has 22+ years in Elburn and offers classes for toddlers, beginner dancers, intermediate level dancers, advanced level dancers, and pre-professional training, and nurtures dancers from age 2 through 18 years old. Summer Dance Camps, Magical Camp, and Littles camp each include a performance on the last day.
The leadership team includes Michelle Ryan (Owner, Executive Director, Choreographer, Teacher), Maggie Kopesky (Company Director, Choreographer, Teacher), Kaitlin Allen (Assistant Company Director, Choreographer, Teacher), Brianna Michi (Choreographer, Teacher), and junior instructors Olivia Staudacher and Cate Taylor. Senior Instructors are all university educated and are continual learners. Michelle has been teaching in the Fox Valley and surrounding area since 1992, and Michelle’s and Maggie’s choreography is nationally awarded. Maggie has a BFA from Northern Illinois University (NIU). Kaitlin is an Empower Dance Company alum, is a National Champion choreographer, is a graduate of NIU in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Dance, and currently works for Revolution Dancewear as their Photoshoot Director/Marketing; she has experience on staff at HEAT Dance Convention as the Assistant Convention Director and the Director of the Junior Heat Force Program, teaches at AYA Convention, and was formerly employed by DuPree Dance Convention as the Lead Assistant. Brianna is a current third-year Chicago Bulls Luvabull, was a 2022–2023 West Coast Dance Explosion Convention AirTeam Assistant, trained as a member of the Velocity MVA+ program, and has experience as an assistant with AYA Convention. Olivia is a cheerleader at St. Francis High School and serves as a Varsity Co-Captain.
