Reach 4 The Sky Summer Football & Cheerleading Camps offers a non-contact football two day camp and a cheerleading spirit camp. Campers take part in fun and exciting drills and instruction, and cheer participants work to fine tune the basic fundamentals of cheerleading. The cheerleading spirit camp includes a performance by the spirit campers.

• Schedule: Two day camp for football and two day camp for cheerleading, with morning sessions on scheduled camp dates

Reach 4 The Sky Summer Football & Cheerleading Camps are part of the Reach 4 The Sky Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Keith Rucker in 2004. The foundation provides lunch, T-shirts and “Camper of the Day” awards, and campers are required to wear athletic shorts, a T-shirt, and gym shoes or cleats. Campers can arrive as early as 8:30am for registration, and the foundation and its staff are not responsible for any campers until 8:30am each morning; campers need to be picked up each day no later than 1:00pm. The Reach 4 The Sky youth foundation’s summer football and cheer camps have been attended by over 6,000 children in the past 12 years and are currently being offered in the Cincinnati and Chicago areas. Reach 4 The Sky is partnering with Football University, and Football University offers a $200 discount to Reach 4 The Sky participants when registering for Football University.
Keith Rucker, the founder of Reach 4 The Sky, is a former NFL football player and is currently the Defensive Coordinator at Denison University. He was a 7-time All-American and a 4-time National Champion in the shot put and discus, was All-Conference in basketball averaging 10 points per game and 9 rebounds per game, and was an All-American in football. He was the first Division III football player in history to be invited to play in the Hula Bowl and went on to play for 7 years in the National Football League for the Phoenix Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs. Keith’s vision in creating the foundation is to improve the lives of less fortunate children by strengthening their character through athletics.
