WSSRA Summer Day Camp

WSSRA Summer Day Camp includes arts and crafts, music and movement, games, nature exploration, STEAM projects, swimming, and field trips. Camps are broken down into smaller age groups based upon registration. Preschool Camp is offered for ages 3–5, and Full-day and Half-day Camp options are offered for ages 6–21.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: June 8–July 24, Monday–Friday, with a 4-week Session 1 (June 8–July 2) and a 3-week Session 2 (July 6–July 24); no camp on June 19 or July 3

Anyone who has a documented diagnosis of disability, is 3–21 years old on the first day of camp, and resides within the boundaries of the Village of Harwood Heights, Village of Elmwood Park, Village of Riverside, Village of North Riverside, Village of River Grove, Berwyn Park District, Park District of Forest Park, Park District Franklin Park, Norridge Park District, North Berwyn Park District, Park District of Oak Park, River Forest Park District, or Veterans Park District is eligible. Camp locations are pending, and the WSSRA Office will notify participants via mailing where the camper will be placed for the summer and provide a list of items to bring each day. Once registration is processed, the WSSRA Office will send this mailing, and a Behavior Code of Conduct Form must be completed by June 3. Each Friday during camp, a visual schedule for the following week is sent home that includes scheduled pool days, field trips, and any special activities. Registration opens February 9, 2026.
