Galena Center for the Arts Classes and Workshops

Galena Center for the Arts Classes and Workshops offers activities such as Painting Miniatures Workshop, Reading Together Time - ages 4-7, Summit Street Singers, Create a Gourd Birdhouse, World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, Create a Wooden Cutting Board, Paint & Sip - Wine Painting Class, and a Scarecrow Making Workshop. Sessions include single-day workshops, short series, and ongoing weekly meetings with set times in the afternoons and evenings.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Mix of single-day workshops and multi-day or weekly sessions, generally 45 minutes to 4 hours per meeting

The Galena Center for the Arts was founded in 2013. Its mission states that it is dedicated to making the arts accessible to its rural community while celebrating the work of exceptional regional artists in a professional setting. It showcases the work of regional artists, hosts live performances, and offers curated exhibitions, diverse performances, interactive workshops, and art available for purchase. It strives to offer high-quality art in an atmosphere and presentation found in leading art institutes and theaters and has recently purchased a new permanent home.
