The Galena Center for the Arts is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in June 2013. The Center moved from its location on Spring Street in January of 2021 to its present location. The mission of the Galena Center for the Arts is to make the arts accessible to its rural area and to showcase talented regional artists in a professional setting. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency. Visitors encounter high-quality exhibits, diverse programming, hands-on workshops, art for sale, and an atmosphere similar to one found at a leading art institute or theater.
