About
Camp Kidz includes field trips to Camp Big Sky, Discovery Depot, the Knox County Fair, and local parks. Campers also take part in arts and crafts, swimming, and a variety of games and sports.

• Schedule: Summer 2025, June 16–July 31, Monday–Thursday, closed the week of July 4th
Camp Kidz has been in operation since 2000 and is a 501(c)3 organization. The camp is managed by Triumph Services, which is a collaboration between Thrive Community Services, Bridgeway, and Warren Achievement Center, and is governed by Triumph Services, Inc., comprised of these three agencies. Staff are trained annually in First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, plus additional orientation, and each activity is designed with the campers’ needs in mind by staff who are trained in the field. Camp Kidz’ mission is to promote and nurture the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of persons with disabilities. Camp Kidz is led by a team that includes Pam Green (Chief Executive Officer), Jeff Gomer (Chief Financial Officer), Joyce Friichtenicht (Senior Director of Community and Employment Services), Lisa Hughs (Director of Community Day Services), Tricia Van Winkle (Director of Alternative Day Program), Jantz Spalding (Director of Development), Amber Senner (Director of Adult Day Services), Jordyn Goedeke Scott (Director of Service Coordination), and Heather Winick (Manager of Administrative Services & Human Resources), along with board officers and directors Luan Statham (President), Randy Conlon (Vice President), Doug Gibb (Secretary/Treasurer), Adam Benedict (Director), Trent Cox (Director), Pat Egan (Director), Cal Palmer (Director), Autumn Scott (Director), Jodi Scott (Director), Katie Smith (Director), and Amber Wold (Director).
