Children's Art Classes – Geneva Summer Workshops offers weekly summer workshops that include painting, drawing, design, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics. Students work with materials and techniques such as acrylic and watercolor painting, ebony pencil, charcoal, stained glass, clay and glazing, watercolor pencil, stippling, architectural drawing, and painting on canvas. The program includes specific classes such as Tiny Hands (3-4), Intro to Art (5-6), Beginning Art (7-8), Art 1 (9+), Art 2, Art 3, and Advanced Art (Art 4 & Up), as well as options for birthday parties and homeschool art curriculum.

• Schedule: Weekly summer workshops in June and July, with classes meeting Monday–Friday; a nine-month comprehensive curriculum runs during the school year from September to May, with classes meeting once a week
Children’s Art Classes offers nine-month programs of study that include painting, drawing, design, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and additional art topics. The comprehensive nine-month curriculum is available to children of all ages and skill levels, and students learn about art history, color theory, shapes, lines, color values, design, and related subjects. In addition to regular art classes and summer workshops, the program offers birthday parties, homeschool art curriculum, and co-op programs.
For birthday parties, the 2-hour Birthday Package includes a 1-hour 15-minute art project, which can be painting on canvas or clay, plus 45 minutes of party time. For these parties, the program provides all supplies for the art project and an additional space for the party, while families bring their own treats of choice.
Children’s Art Classes serves families from Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, Elburn, South Elgin, Carpentersville, Elgin, Hampshire, Campton Hills, North Aurora, Saint Charles, West Chicago, and other nearby communities.
