Glen Ellyn Titans Basketball Feeder Program includes Spring and Summer Camps, the 10,000 Shot / 50K Dribble Summer Club, and the Glen Ellyn One Day Shootout held January 3 for girls and January 4 for boys. The program offers boys and girls the opportunity to participate in a respected and competitive program that stresses core basketball fundamentals and expects a high level of commitment from both players and parents.

Glen Ellyn Titans Basketball was established in 1999 as a feeder system for the Glenbard West High School basketball program, and 90% of its players participate in high school. The program’s mission is to build a competitive junior basketball program for those living in the Glenbard West High School district, with players, coaches, and parents who demonstrate good sportsmanship and integrity while preparing players to ultimately participate at Glenbard West High School. It emphasizes that winning games is a result of implementing and reinforcing sound basketball skills and developing players so they can compete, play hard, and win for themselves based on a better set of skills.
The program is led in part by Coach Jason Opoka, head basketball coach at Glenbard West High School. According to Coach Opoka, the Glen Ellyn Titans feeder program is one of the most vital parts of building a strong, successful high school program, where the foundation is laid in skills, fundamentals, teamwork, accountability, work ethic, and sportsmanship, and younger athletes arrive at the high school level already familiar with the system and expectations.
The Glen Ellyn Titans Foundation has served the Glen Ellyn community and students since 2014 and was created to support Glenbard West High School and the Glen Ellyn community. The Foundation supports Glenbard West students with college scholarship opportunities by awarding two $2500 scholarships each year and was an integral part of creating the Main Street Rec outdoor basketball court.
