Vertical Endeavors Youth Programs include rock climbing, bouldering, top rope climbing, sport lead climbing, yoga, and fitness classes. The programs also offer summer climbing camp, competitive youth climb teams, non-competitive climbing clubs, guided climbing trips, and private climbing lessons. Vertical Endeavors states that there is no minimum or maximum age or skill set to climb, and that it welcomes people of all ages and abilities.

Vertical Endeavors describes itself as the Midwest’s premier indoor rock climbing facilities and operates six facilities in the Midwest, including five in Minnesota and one in Illinois. Memberships include unlimited climbing, Pro Shop discounts, and exclusive members-only events, with options for all-access memberships for any facility and single-location memberships. Day passes and 10-visit passes that can be shared among family and friends are also available. All participants must sign a Liability Waiver and Rules Agreement and complete a Facility Orientation during their first visit, and participants under age 14 are required to have adult supervision. In order to top-rope belay, a climber must be at least 14 years old, and lead climbers must already be qualified to top rope belay and must be at least 16 years old to belay. Anyone who has not climbed at a Vertical Endeavors facility for four months or more is expected to re-qualify for top-rope belaying, lead climbing, and/or lead belaying. Participants are instructed to wear loose, comfortable clothing with tight athletic shoes or rental climbing shoes, tie back long hair, and remove all jewelry, and only professionally manufactured rock climbing equipment approved by staff may be used. Vertical Endeavors states that it is committed to maintaining an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and other behavior it deems offensive, and that such behavior is prohibited in the facility.
