Glenview School of Arts

Glenview School of Arts offers summer camp art projects, drawing and painting, ceramics, sculpture, digital art, fashion illustration, storybook making, and animation. Summer Camp 2026 runs Monday through Friday and includes 2 to 3 hands-on projects each day using different mediums and techniques.

Programs

• Summer Camp 2026 — Students aged 9-13 are eligible for the Advanced Summer Art Camp track with at least two prior summers of experience. · Monday through Friday · Fun and creative art camp. Students explore 2-3 hands-on projects daily using different mediums and techniques. Flexible part-time and full-time options are available. Tuition is based on attendance.
• Advanced Summer Art Camp — Ages 9-13 with at least two prior summers of experience. · More focused instruction and complex projects.
• Art classes for children, teens, and adults — Children from grades K-12 and adults. · General art classes.
• Drawing and painting — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• Ceramics — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• Sculpture — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• Digital art — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• Fashion illustration — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• Storybook making — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• Animation — Children from grades K-12 and adults.
• High school AP art classes — High school students. · Classes specifically built for high school AP art classes.
• Portfolio development program — High school students. · For high school students interested in pursuing art at higher levels.

About the provider

DongJoo Suh opened Glenview School of Arts in 2001 and serves as Director. The leadership team also includes Xing Tan, Manager and Art Instructor for Drawing & Painting; Kinga Kurylonek, Art Instructor for Drawing & Ceramic; and Maureen Bucsit, Art Instructor for Drawing & KinderArt. The school offers an Illinois Board of Higher Education certified Art Teacher Training Program for anyone over 18 with a high school diploma.

Parent/Guardian must submit an individual registration form for each student. The registration form and payment must be completed before the first lesson of each session begins. Tuition is charged by session and due by the first day of classes. Tuition may be paid by check, cash, or credit card. No credit cards for discounted classes please. Classes are canceled when the enrollment minimums are not reached. Glenview School of Arts may use a child's photograph and academic information on the school website, ads, and to give the option to participate in competitions.
