Lake County Stallions offers youth Cheerleading, Football, and Lacrosse. The program focuses on teaching these sports to kids in kindergarten through 8th grade, regardless of prior experience.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
The Lake County Stallions mission states that it is dedicated to teaching Cheerleading, Football, and Lacrosse to youths K–8, regardless of experience. The program concentrates on preparation, focus, discipline, technique, respect, self-confidence, and building friendships. A staff of experienced, volunteer coaches leads the activities. The program states that athletes will display sportsmanship, competitive spirit, and have fun during the season and practices. Lake County Stallions has an LCS Code of Conduct Anti-Bullying Policy and states that it does not tolerate bullying at any practice, game, or other LCS-sanctioned event. The program promotes a telling atmosphere where anyone who knows that bullying is taking place is expected to report it, and it states that players and parents will be supported when bullying is reported. The program notes a special thanks to Aldridge Electric for sponsoring Lake County Stallions.
