For the last 20 years, Hard Road Theatre has been Highland’s premier community theatre group, dedicated to providing high-quality shows to people of all ages within the community. The group’s mission includes creating educational opportunities in the theatrical arts for adults and children in Highland and nearby areas, and collaborating and partnering with local school administration, music and theater departments, and the broader community. Hard Road Theatre notes that it is celebrating 25 years of theatre and expresses that it has more stories to tell as it continues bringing live theater to Highland.

Hard Road Theatre’s community involvement includes annual theater programming and philanthropic outreach efforts that focus on collaboration with local schools and the community. The organization has given a significant amount of money to support theater in Highland, including a donation of $50,000 toward the school auditorium air-conditioning project and assistance with upgrading vital lighting and sound equipment at the schools. Hard Road’s Theatre Club offers special benefits to people who support Highland’s local theatre.
