Homewood Science Center STEM Programs includes STEM Saturdays, which offer free, drop-in STEM activities with play, creative exhibits, and guided demos. It also includes Family Fridays with hands-on family STEM activities with play, exhibits, and guided demos, along with Summer Camps that feature STEM fun focused on curiosity, problem-solving, and exploration.

About the provider

Homewood Science Center was founded in 2016. It says its mission is to inspire curiosity and expand access to STEM learning in Chicago’s south suburbs, and it creates hands-on STEM experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and open pathways to future learning and careers. It serves families, students, and educators across Chicago’s Southland and Northwest Indiana and offers STEM exhibits, family programs, school field trips, hands-on workshops, educator resources, and accessible experiences for all ages.
