Summer Day Camp runs on weekdays and follows a set daily schedule. Camp activities take place during specific daytime hours within the overall program day.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm, with camp activities running 9am–4pm, from June 2–August 8
• Price: Registration $35; Full Time (5 days per week) – Members $175, Non-Members $225; Part-Time (3 days per week) – Members $105, Non-Members $135
The program is part of the Bob Freesen YMCA, which operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The mission of the Bob Freesen YMCA is to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and kids in the community through safe, accessible programs, spaces, and activities. The organization partners with community groups to raise awareness and address issues of childcare, senior services, food insecurity, support for foster children, educational gaps, and healthy activities in underserved communities. Leadership for youth and family, sports, aquatics, membership, finance, property and grounds, and courtesy staff includes directors such as Jessie Bonds, Ashley Olson, Angie Sowle, Barbara Gross, Madison Eller, Terri Kimler, Glenn Pickens, Bill Ranson, and Danielle Schnake.
