The Forge Camps

The Forge Camps take place at The Forge, which offers activities such as mini golf, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, archery, axe throwing, laser tag, ziplining, a climbing wall, ropes courses, gemstone panning, paddlesports, trails and biking. The broader park also hosts live music, outdoor concerts, music festivals, races, Movie Mondays, falconry classes, and other camps.

• Schedule: Park and trail hours run from sunrise to sunset on listed days, with activities such as Climb & Zipline, Explorer Activities, and Mini Golf operating within set time windows.
• Price: Explorer Day Pass starting at $40; Ultimate Adventure Pass starting at $80; Kids Adventure Pass starting at $20; Play and Unwind options starting at $10 per person.

The Forge is described as “Chicagoland's Adventure Park for Everyone” and is listed as one of USA Today’s 10 Best Aerial Adventure Parks in the country. One visitor described bringing nine graduating high school seniors who used the Explorer Pass for seven hours of kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, archery, axe throwing, and laser tag, and commented on the location and employees. Other visitors mentioned spending time with family members on different obstacle “elements,” using the ropes, zip line, and climbing wall, and bringing a Junior Girl Scout troop, and they described staff as friendly, attentive, and focused on keeping the park clean and safe.
