CLP Golf offers private golf lessons, playing lessons, and group lessons for kids. The program also includes Y.P.G, which is a non-traditional, game-based learning environment, as well as participation in PGA Jr. League and a PGA Junior League team.

Y.P.G is described as a non-traditional, game-based learning environment designed to be accessible to 6–12-year-olds, and PGA Jr. League is described as a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 13 and under. Clayton is a golf instructor who works with Kevin Weeks to lead the PGA Junior League team and teach in the junior golf program. Clayton is in his fifth year at Cog Hill and was named by his peers in late 2019 as one of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Illinois. Staff credentials listed for the program include PGA Professional; Golf Digest Best-In-State Teacher (#10 in Illinois); U.S Kids Top 50 Honorable Mention Coach; TPI Junior Level 2 Coach; Little Golf Train Certified Conductor; and Plane Truth Level 1 Certified. Additional credentials and awards include Golf Digest Best-In-State Teacher (#10 in Illinois), U.S Kids Top 50 Honorable Mention Coach, and Golf Digest winner of Best Young Teachers in America 2023–2024. The program is described as one of the strongest junior golf programs in the United States, and three of the most recent PGA Junior League teams have won the regional championship and qualified to play in the national tournament. PGA Jr. League and PGA Junior League teams are part of the community involvement connected to this program.
