Merrilee Studios has been providing dance and tumbling instruction since 1977. It is described as a proud family business with over 40 years’ experience teaching and growing dancers in Central Illinois. The program’s mission states that it is a community of dance teachers, parents, siblings, and friends with a common purpose to grow happy dancer athletes, whether they are competitive or recreational, and that it teaches the fine art of dance while also providing lifelong skills like respect, teamwork, and kindness.
Merrilee Studios serves Metamora and the surrounding communities of Benson, Cazenovia, Congerville, Deer Creek, East Peoria, El Paso, Eureka, Germantown Hills, Goodfield, Henry, La Rose, Lowpoint, Minonk, Morton, Peoria, Roanoke, Secor, Spring Bay, Washburn, Washington, and Varna. The program also describes “Merrilee equals family” as one of its unique features.
