The program includes 8u–14u tackle football, 5–7 year old flag football, a Spring Flag Season, and a pork chop fundraiser. Flag and tackle teams also scrimmage at halftime of a sophomore football game supported by cheerleading.

• Ages: 5–14 years old

The stated goal of Metamora-Germantown Hills Junior Football League is to develop and promote the ideals of responsibility, hard work, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fellowship within a positive environment, with individual growth enhanced through the spirit of competition, discipline, and fair play. The program describes a structured approach intended to educate and inspire both participants and parents in all aspects of the game of football, and states that safety is the number one priority. All coaches are certified “Heads Up” by USA Football, and the league sets playing time guidelines. Top of the line protective equipment is inspected and certified every year, and new equipment is purchased as necessary. All players should arrive by 5:45pm and have a copy of the player's birth certificate for MGHJFL Tackle validation.

All teams participate in the MTHS Homecoming Parade, and flag and tackle teams scrimmage at halftime of a sophomore football game supported by cheerleading. The program notes a Caterpillar 10:1 donation match program opportunity.
