EVOLVEkids offers gymnastics, tumbling, cheer tumble, and All-Star cheerleading, along with toddler open gyms, preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, and birthday parties. The program includes activities such as Crawler Open Gym, Toddler Open Gym, Crawler & Toddler Open Gym, Parent & Tot toddler gymnastic classes, Small Stars preschool gymnastics classes, Lil Dudes Flip, recreational gymnastics and tumbling classes, a Hotshots class, a competitive tumbling team, a competitive tumbling & trampoline program, Cheer Tumble and Jr. High/High School Cheer Tumble classes, and competitive All-Star cheerleading programs for Elite, Prep, and Novice. EVOLVEkids offers all four of the main Olympic events: floor, bars, beam, and vault, and also has Open Gym in the evening for school age kids.

• Schedule: Parent & Tot toddler gymnastic classes are 45 minutes once a week; Small Stars preschool gymnastics classes are 50 minutes once a week; recreational gymnastics classes and tumbling classes each run 60 to 90 minutes once a week depending on level; Toddler Open Gym is 60 or 90 minutes in length.

EVOLVEkids’ Owner and Lead Instructor is Heidi Lawless, who formerly owned a competitive gymnastics facility and was a competitive gymnastics coach. EVOLVEkids states, “We believe that active kids grow up to be fun, fit, and healthy. The New Evolution of Fun Focused Gymnastics, Tumbling, & Cheer,” and is described as “The New Evolution of Fun Focused Gymnastics, Tumbling, & Cheer.” EVOLVEkids has a competitive length rod floor, a 50’ TumblTrak, a double-mini trampoline, Spieth America’s “Just For Kids” uneven bars designed for preschoolers and beginning gymnasts, and wider and lower balance beams, along with equipment and shapes specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Recreational gymnastics and tumbling classes are divided into three tiers: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, and the business model is oriented towards serving recreational gymnastics rather than competitive gymnastics. EVOLVEkids has relationships with competitive gyms in the Minooka area and advises and steers competitive gymnasts to facilities that fit their needs, and in 2018 the EVOLVE Competitive Tumbling Team had 3 Illinois State Champions and 1 National Champion.
