The Whiteside County Farm Bureau Foundation Agricultural Education Programs are based at the Whiteside County Farm Bureau Foundation. The agricultural literacy program was initially created to bring Agriculture in the Classroom programming to Whiteside County classrooms and has grown to reach nearly 10,000 students annually. In recent years, this program has expanded outside the traditional elementary school classroom to include work with local FFA programs and summer programs like Farm Camp, Pollinator Celebration, and the Summer Agriculture Institute.

The mission of the Whiteside County Farm Bureau Foundation is to provide educational opportunities that impact the future of the food and agricultural industry in Whiteside County and around the world. This mission is carried out through Agricultural Literacy programs that provide educational materials, classroom presentations, and other resources to educate the community from Kindergarten to Consumer. The Foundation works at the direction of a volunteer board of directors and holds several fundraising events throughout the year.

Since its start in 1988, the Whiteside County Farm Bureau Foundation has awarded over $93,000 in scholarship funds. From just one scholarship awarded in 1992, the Foundation has increased both the amount of scholarships and the number of recipients impacted each year. Since inception, and with the help of donors, the Foundation has provided over $140,000 to Whiteside County students as of 2022.
