• Ages: 18 months–18 years old

This program is partially sponsored by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council and is an activity of the John R. and Eleanor R. Mitchell Foundation. Cedarhurst art classes are open to everyone, with registrations taken in the order received with payment, and a limited number of scholarships available for those who need financial assistance. Spaces cannot be reserved without payment, payments by major credit card are accepted by phone or online at www.cedarhurst.org, and there are no refunds on class fees unless the class has been cancelled, except when a replacement is found or provided. Parents, guardians, or caregivers must sign students in and out each day, and in the event of unresolved behavior issues, the student will be suspended from the class and the class fee forfeited. The Shrode Art Center reserves the right to use photographs taken during classes and workshops for publicity and media purposes, and parents or guardians who do not want their child included in photographs must notify art center staff at the time of enrollment. Students bring their own lunch for the Lunchtime Art activity, and extended hours are offered from Memorial Day to Labor Day on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
