Mt. Zion Youth Sports – Farm Basketball offers a farm basketball season that includes practices and games for boys and girls in the current 24/25 school year who are in PreK through 6th grade. The program uses the same jerseys as previous years, with an option to order a new jersey if needed.
• Ages: PreK–6th grade (current 24/25 school year)
• Schedule: Farm basketball season starts the first week of January and ends the last weekend of February, with the 2025 season running from the first week of January 2025 to the first week of March 2025; practices for PreK–K and 1st–2nd are on Saturdays before games, practices for 3rd–4th and 5th–6th are during the week, and all games for PreK through 6th are on Saturdays
• Price: There is a $20 fee for a new jersey if one is ordered
The organization states that its purpose is to further the education and citizenship of young people in the Mt. Zion area and to further their training in sportsmanship-like conduct through participation in organized sports. Families have the option to volunteer to reduce their costs, and there are Winter 2024, Winter 2025, and Winter 2026 Farm Basketball registration options.
