Founded in 1981, Kiddie Academy is family owned and was founded by George and Pauline Miller, and the Miller family continues to own and operate Kiddie Academy. All Kiddie Academy educators must meet or exceed the state requirements for child care providers, including background clearance, education qualifications, and ongoing professional development. The CampVentures summer camp program is described as a summer-themed learning experience where every day brings new adventures that are both educational and filled with fun, with activities planned around topics children are interested in, such as boats and airplanes, insects and flowers, summer sports, planting a garden, and performing in a play. The program includes local field trips for older children, on-site enrichment opportunities for younger children, outdoor time described as crucial for a well-balanced educational program, and an assortment of healthy, nutritious meals and snacks provided every day.

CampVentures is part of Kiddie Academy’s focus on benchmarking measures of excellence and proactively securing accreditation, and it uses the Life Essentials proprietary curriculum focused on six key outcomes that prepare children for life. The program follows Health Essentials guidelines, includes secure entries and authorized pick-up procedures, cleaning protocols, and completed background checks for all staff, and is described as a Safe & Healthy Environment with secure, restricted entries and employees trained on health and safety protocols. The stated mission is to prepare children for life through a passion for early childhood education, community commitment, and the Life Essentials curriculum, with an emphasis on educating and encouraging children both in and out of the classroom. The community is described as one where lifelong friendships and lasting memories are formed, and parent feedback highlights staff who are fun, kind, attentive, friendly, communicative, and caring, with detailed daily reports, pictures and videos, a variety of activities, interactive learning, and a good routine for children.
