CampVentures Summer Camp Program includes hands-on activities such as exploring outside, water play, and time for a snowcone. Children explore textures that can be found in different environments, investigate a variety of physical science concepts, and discover different types of simple machines. The program also includes pretend play to strengthen imagination skills, the use of creative arts materials in different ways, interactive stories and songs that encourage movement and dance, and opportunities to compare and contrast animal features. Participants explore stories and characters from different genres of literature, prepare culinary treats related to thematic units, explore different facets of the culinary arts, imagine visiting new places and studying other cultures, embark on theme-related field trips, attend themed events, and present culminating projects to reflect and showcase themes.
