i9 Sports Youth Sports Leagues, Camps & Clinics offers youth sports leagues, camps, clinics, after-school programs, and multi-sport programs. Kids take part in activities such as youth soccer leagues, soccer clinics, soccer camps, recreational soccer programs, youth flag football leagues and programs, youth baseball and t-ball leagues, youth basketball leagues, youth volleyball leagues, and Nike Kids Camps powered by i9 Sports.

The stated mission of i9 Sports is to help kids succeed in life through sports by providing a youth sports experience that teaches the importance of good sportsmanship on the field and in life. The program focuses on age-appropriate instruction and integrates nine sportsmanship values into practice and game play each week, with Pee Wee, Junior, and Senior age-grouped sports programs aligned to developmental milestones. The i9 Sports Excellence in Sportsmanship medal is awarded to players who best demonstrate the weekly sportsmanship value.

i9 Sports is the nation’s largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based youth sports programs, with over 5 million registrations in communities across the country. Programs include popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, and tennis, and some locations also offer lacrosse, cheerleading, tennis, multi-sport programs, and girls-only soccer in addition to coed teams and leagues. Youth soccer leagues follow a one-day-a-week structure, teams are formed each season with an option for existing teams to continue together, and youth soccer leagues serve kids ages 3–14, while Nike Kids Camps powered by i9 Sports are for ages 5–12. Over four million kids play soccer every year through i9 Sports youth soccer leagues for kids.

i9 Sports is proud to support the Aspen Institute’s national Project Play initiative and has been selected as a Project Play Champion for taking meaningful actions to encourage multi-sport sampling and help grow national youth sports participation rates. The Gains are for the Girls initiative is committed to getting over 500,000 girls playing in kids sports programs by 2030. The program has been selected as a Project Play Champion by the Aspen Institute’s national Project Play initiative.

Parent feedback describes the program as very well run, with good communication and measures to keep kids as safe as possible during seasons of uncertainty. Parents report appreciation that the program continued despite COVID concerns, that sites felt safe and were set up well, and that having practice, game, and fun all in one morning was convenient. Parents also note that coaches have been well organized, that the program focuses on teaching good sportsmanship and respect for one another, and that kids have had a great time playing sports with no pressure about performance.
