New Lenox Community Park District Athletic Classes and Kids First Classes

New Lenox Community Park District Athletic Classes and Kids First Classes offers Fall Archery 101, Rookie Rugby, Rugby 101, Soccer Shots Mini, Soccer Shots Classic, Soccer Shots Premier, Baseball/Softball Fundamentals, Indoor Track & Field, Multi-Sport Class, Flag Football 7 on 7, Flag Football Fundamentals, and Basketball Fundamentals. The offerings include archery with all equipment supplied by BowDoc Archery, non-contact rugby, soccer classes, baseball and softball drills, indoor sprints, hurdles, jumps, running and throws, flag football, and basketball fundamentals.

• Athletic Classes: Fall Archery 101 — 8-17 · T, 7:00-8:00pm · $130–$140 · Four sessions of archery fun. BowDoc Archery supplies all equipment necessary for class.
• Athletic Classes: Rookie Rugby — 6-8 · TH, 6:00-7:00pm · $61–$71 · Non-contact program introducing rugby skills through fun activities and games.
• Athletic Classes: Rugby 101 — 9-13 · TH, 7:00-8:00pm · $61–$71 · Non-contact program teaching fundamentals of the game with skills development and game simulations.
• Athletic Classes: Soccer Shots Mini — 2-3 · W, 5:00-5:30pm · $107–$117 · Adults must participate with children each week.
• Athletic Classes: Soccer Shots Classic — 4-5 · W, 5:35-6:20pm · $107–$117
• Athletic Classes: Soccer Shots Premier — 6-9 · W, 6:25-7:10pm · $107–$117
• Kids First Classes: Baseball/Softball Fundamentals — 5-12 · TH, 5:00-6:15pm · $160–$170 · Program prepares and challenges players through fun and competitive drills.
• Kids First Classes: Indoor Track & Field — 5-12 · SU, 9:00-10:15am · $160–$170 · Coaches teach indoor sprints, hurdles, jumps, running and throws in a safe and fundamental way.
• Kids First Classes: Multi-Sport Class — 5-12 · TH, 6:15-7:30pm · $160–$170 · Combines sports, games, events and contests while learning safe fundamentals.
• Kids First Classes: Flag Football 7 on 7 — 5-12 · SU, 11:30am-12:45pm · $160–$170 · Thrilling, challenging, and fun, with a Championship Game that concludes the program.
• Kids First Classes: Flag Football Fundamentals — 5-12 · TH, 6:15-7:30pm · $160–$170 · Combines flag football fundamental preparation with flag football games.
• Kids First Classes: Basketball Fundamentals — 5-12 · SU, 11:30am-12:45pm; TH, 5:00-6:15pm · $160–$170 · Focuses on fundamentals, basketball games and game preparation.

The mission is to provide safe recreational opportunities through diverse programs, facilities, and open space, with the overall goal of improving the quality of life in the community. The mission is maintained through positive and productive relationships with New Lenox School District #122 and Lincoln-Way High School District #210.

Must be correct age at the start of the program date. Rookie Rugby is non-contact. Rugby 101 is non-contact. Flag Football 7 on 7 has a Championship Game that concludes the program. There are new team competitive drills that kids learn and develop for the sport each time!
