New Lenox Community Park District Summer Camps

New Lenox Community Park District Summer Camps include a range of options such as Summer Camps and Day Camps, along with themed programs like Camp Wewannago, Camp Rainbow, and Camp Fire. Participants can take part in activities that include Chess Wizards, Basketball, Horseback Riding, Kids First Soccer, Tennis & Pickle Ball, Volleyball, Center Stage Camps, Arts and Theater, and Dance. These camps use facilities that include the New Lenox Community Park District, The Sanctuary Golf Course, and Wintrust Crossroads Sports Complex.

The New Lenox Community Park District states its mission as “To provide safe recreational opportunities through diverse programs, facilities, and open space, with the overall goal being improvement of the quality of life in our community.” The district notes that this mission is maintained and achieved through relationships with New Lenox School District #122 and Lincoln-Way High School District #210, involving the sharing of facility space and athletic fields among schools, the park district, and athletic associations, and describes this shared structure as one that is not usually employed by other park districts.
