Lincolnway Special Recreation Association

Lincolnway Special Recreation Association offers Adapted Programs for individuals age 3 and older whose primary disability is a physical or visual impairment. It also offers Seasonal Adapted Social Events, Seasonal Adapted Sports such as boccia, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair softball, and wheelchair football, and Piano and Voice Lessons at $30 per 30-minute lesson.

About the provider

Lincolnway Special Recreation Association has provided recreation and leisure services for individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities since 1976. Its mission is to provide recreation and leisure services while promoting greater disability awareness in the community. LWSRA has wheelchairs and other adapted equipment available for use during programs, and sports equipment grants are available annually to help individuals obtain their own personal equipment.

Must be independent in feeding and bathroom/toileting. Participants who are not current participants (since 2020) will be redirected to the Participant Introduction Form once they submit the music lessons interest form.
