Gold Medal Squared Volleyball Camps run on-court volleyball camps that include passing fundamentals, serve/receive responsibilities, spiking keys and principles, transition footwork, serving keys and principles, blocking keys and fundamentals, and both team defensive systems and individual defense keys and principles. Athletes take part in small group drills, competitive gamelike drills, a small group tournament, general setting for all athletes, serve-receive activities, and team systems sessions, along with culture and team building activities.
• Ages: 11–18 years old
• Schedule: 2.5-day and 4-day camp options are offered year round, with preferred summer schedules running Monday–Wednesday for the 2.5-day camp and Monday–Thursday for the 4-day camp
• Price: 2.5-day schedule $295 per athlete (24 athlete minimum); 4-day schedule $395 per athlete (24 athlete minimum)
Gold Medal Squared has been helping coaches build winning programs for 40+ years, and its volleyball camps have been helping high school and club programs achieve success since 1985. Its volleyball training methods are described as simple, time-tested, and science-based, and have helped coaches win at all levels of the game. Camp staff are GMS certified, deeply vetted, and required to pass SafeSport and background screenings.
Camps are available year round for schools, clubs, girls, or boys, and are designed for high schools, clubs, boys, and girls. Gold Medal Squared travels to the client and handles staffing, travel, lodging, ground transportation, and staff meals, and no hosting is needed from the client. Clients are asked to reserve their gym and provide the volleyball equipment. One dedicated GMS coach is assigned per court, and camps include coaching reps for the client’s staff, a camp manual for the coaching staff, a GMS camp t-shirt, a free GMS coaches clinic, complimentary access to the GMS+ coaching platform, and year round support from staff. Camps emphasize both offensive and defensive systems, provide thousands of quality, intense reps for athletes and coaches, and allow an entire program, including frosh, JV, and varsity teams, to attend together and learn uniform verbiage. Flexible payment options are available, including athletes paying directly during registration or programs covering cost through booster funds.
