Founded in 2014 as Millennium Futbol Club, Chicago Inter South Soccer Club is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting soccer for youth in Bloomington-Normal and surrounding areas. Its philosophy and mission is to provide a soccer program “where soccer and the players can grow.” The stated mission is to provide the opportunity for soccer training and play for all interested participants, designed to develop individual skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship, and to support the physical, mental and emotional development of youth players. The program also states a goal to promote, foster and perpetuate the growth of soccer in the community and to focus on building both the mental and physical skills of the game, preparing youth to be leaders both on and off the field.
