Storm Dance Alliance

Storm Dance Alliance offers Bendy Babies, Tiny Tappers, Bitty Ballet, and Tiny Tots Hip Hop for ages 1.5-3, with each class listed as 30 minutes. It also offers Mini Ballet and Jazz Combo, Mini Ballet and Tap Combo, Mini Hip Hop Stars, Mini Acrobatics, Mini Pom and Cheer, and Mini Jazz N Tumble for ages 3-4, each listed as 45 minutes. For ages 5-6, it offers Petite Acrobatics and Petite Ballet and Tap, both listed as 60 minutes.

Programs

• Bendy Babies — 1.5-3 years · 30 minutes; a fun, energetic class combining basic gymnastics, balance, and movement.
• Tiny Tappers — 1.5-3 · 30 minutes; an intro to dance that builds rhythm, coordination, and motor skills through simple tap steps.
• Bitty Ballet — 1.5-3 years · 30 minutes; a gentle intro to dance where toddlers explore basic ballet movements.
• Tiny Tots Hip Hop — 1.5-3 years · 30 minutes; an introduction to hip hop made for littlest dancers.
• Mini Ballet and Jazz Combo — 3-4 years old · 45 minutes; blends the grace of ballet with the energy of jazz.
• Mini Ballet and Tap Combo — 3-4 years old · 45 minutes; an introduction to the basics of ballet and tap.
• Mini Hip Hop Stars — 3-4 years old · 45 minutes; a high-energy class where young dancers explore rhythm, movement, and self-expression.
• Mini Acrobatics — 3-4 years old · 45 minutes; an intro to acrobatics where young dancers build strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Mini Pom and Cheer — 3-4 years old · 45 minutes; an intro to cheerleading and pom dance.
• Mini Jazz N Tumble — 3-4 years old · 45 minutes; a combo class blending upbeat jazz dance with basic tumbling.
• Petite Acrobatics — 5-6 years old · 60 minutes; an intro to acrobatics where dancers learn rolls, cartwheels, stretches, and balance skills.
• Petite Ballet and Tap — 5-6 years old · 60 minutes; introduces young dancers to the grace of ballet and the rhythm of tap.

About the provider

Storm Dance Alliance opened in 2003 and has over 20 years of bringing dance to the greater Illinois area. Its mission is to provide a prestigious and cutting edge dance education in a positive yet challenging environment. The studio has been voted a top 10 studio in the northwest and a Top 10 dance studio in the midwest, and it received the Federation of Dance Competition’s Studio Excellence Award in 2010. In 2011, it finished in the top 25 studios in the Midwest and brought home 7 national championships. It also holds Holiday Charity Showcase events that benefit local families each Christmas season, and its Nutcracker Ballet includes community dancers and over 200 dancers each season.

Classes are taught in a warm and supportive environment. Registration begins Monday, July 27th for the Fall Academy Classes; in-person registration only for the Fall Session. No classes on October 31st; closed the week of November 22nd-29th.
