Pilgrim Park Camp in Princeton, Illinois, began in 1946. The site started with a 30-acre lower campus donated by two sisters and has grown to a total of 155 acres that include forests and prairie land. The mission of Pilgrim Park is to offer retreats, camps, and workshops for people of all ages, with activities open to all and not limited to members of the United Church of Christ. Programs are described as encouraging covenantal relationships, celebrating the gifts and talents of those around participants, and providing opportunities for personal growth in life and in experiences with God. The leadership team includes Co-Directors Matt Martinkus and Mitch Kloster, Office Manager Tara Cade, Housekeeping staff member Natalie Kloster, Head Cook Char Williams, and Mitch and Natalie’s children, Cooper and Lena.
