About

Pilgrim Park Camp and Conference Center offers access to sports fields, hiking trails, a pond, and a labyrinth as part of its camp and retreat programs. The site includes lower campus buildings on the original 30 acres, with additional forests and prairie land that bring the total area to 155 acres.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Pilgrim Park Camp and Conference Center began in 1946. The leadership team includes Co-Directors Matt Martinkus and Mitch Kloster, Office Manager Tara Cade, Housekeeping staff member Natalie Kloster, and Head Cook Char Williams, along with Mitch and Natalie’s children, Cooper and Lena. Its programs are designed to encourage covenantal relationships, celebrate the gifts and talents of those around participants, and provide opportunities for personal growth in life and in experiences with God. The program offers a wide range of retreats, camps, and workshops for people of all ages, and activities are not limited to members of the United Church of Christ, as it welcomes all God’s children. The program describes its setting and focus with the phrase “Out of the ordinary, into the sacred.”
