About
Crawford County Futsal Club offers technical footwork and skill-building, fun games, and futsal play that includes a World Cup-style tournament. The program runs a Winter Futsal League and a Summer Futsal Camp, along with an annual Winter League that includes short practices held directly before each game to review the rules and prepare for play. Futsal in this program is a version of indoor soccer played on a basketball court with a smaller, low-bounce ball called a futsal, which is closely related to indoor soccer that is played with a soccer ball on turf and uses walls.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: The annual Winter League includes games on one weekend day each weekend in January and February, and the annual Summer Camp is held each summer.
• Price: Early Bird discount: register before 5/21 for $55. After 5/21 and until 6/13, register for $60.
The Crawford County Futsal Club (CCFC) is open to and inclusive of all players, ages 5–99, and is open to anyone with interest. The youth league for grades K–12 is competitive and fast-paced with an emphasis on fun and equal playing time, and the adult league for ages 18 and up includes players with a wide range of playing experience and encourages fitness, positivity, and healthy competition. Futsal in this club creates an opportunity for more touches on the ball as players work in tight spaces and play quicker and more accurately, and it is described as fast-paced, intuitive, and a way to keep skills up during the off-season. The 3rd annual Winter League finished with about 150 participants and a new venue, and the 5th annual season Winter League 2026 is offered. Athletic shorts of any color, soccer socks of any color, shin guards, and non-skid tennis shoes are required, futsal shoes are not required, and a jersey will be provided and must be returned at the end of the Winter League.
The Crawford County Futsal Club’s mission is Competition, Character, Fun, and Collaboration, with stated aims to improve competitiveness, fitness, and technical skill, build character and sportsmanship, foster an atmosphere of fun, and promote teamwork and collaborative play. The CCFC was founded in Fall 2021 and was designed as an integral piece of the effort to grow fitness, technical footwork skill sets, and love for the game of soccer in the East Central Illinois area. The CCFC Founder, Tanya Reed, has played soccer from age 5 through the collegiate level, has been coaching youth soccer for over 10 years at all ages, and has been refereeing soccer games in Crawford County, Terre Haute, Indianapolis, and Chicagoland areas for over 30 years. She holds referee certifications with both the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
