Peppermint Stick Children’s Center Summer Camp

Peppermint Stick Children’s Center Summer Camp offers Summer Camp for Preschoolers and Summer Camp for School Age Children. Activities include roller skating, swimming, sport activities, live theater, traveling plays, behind-the-scenes tours, magic shows, and story tellers. The summer program shifts emphasis from the classroom to outdoor activities, and the facilities have specialized equipment and toys for every age group, room arrangements that maximize space, playgrounds with a park-like atmosphere, and equipment surrounded by a shock absorbing play surface.

About the provider

Peppermint Stick has had its roots in the Lake County area since the 1960s, and a second location was started in 1971 in Round Lake Beach. Its mission is to promote quality care, education, cultural and social programming, and to prepare life-long learners and responsible citizens while utilizing community resources and partnerships with parents. Both locations are DCFS licensed.
